  1. I had a man swear at me when I told him I’d called the police because he had three dogs in a car, on asphalt, in the middle of a sunny summer day. I was furious. If he hadn’t come back when he did, I’d have started looking for something to break a window. This summer I think, along with the extra bottles of water, a baseball bat for that very purpose.

  2. My 2 dogs go to work with me every week day and today I had to leave for a couple of hours for a medical procedure. I’m in Denver, where it was pleasantly sunny and 74F with a b reeze. That temp is still too hot to leave the dogs in the truck, even with the sun roof open and 4 windows down 3 inches. Any time it’s between about 68F to 73F I either park in the shade, or, in today’s case, on the sub-ground level of a parking garage, and still open the sun roof all the way and lower the windows 3-4″. If it’s over 75F and I can’t park in a cool garage, the dogs go to doggy care for the time I have to run errands or have appointments. This is just what you do when you don’t leave your pets at home.

  3. People will always surprise you on how stupid they can be and the BS they come up with to get out of it. I know in some counties/states you are allowed to break the window .

  4. Click bait are links that take you off Facebook. They have zero to do with basset hounds and it makes money for that website when you go look. They try to hook you with a headline and 9 times out of ten you have to look through multiple pages (i.e. Advertisements) to see the whole story.
