Man Hears Barking Coming From Front Bumper 200 Miles Into His Trip

A man from China was about 200 miles into his road trip when he heard barking coming from the front of his car. What in the world? How could that be? So he pulled over to investigate, and that’s when he saw it.

A puppy was stuck in his front bumper. And somehow, it was still alive.

The driver said he knew he hit a dog a ways back, but he had an explanation for why he didn’t stop.

“I was driving pretty quickly at the time so when I hit the dog, I thought it had either died or run away, so I didn’t get out of the car to check.”

The man proceeded to a local vet where the dog was freed from the bumper — 248 miles from where it was originally hit.

The dog was cleared by the vet and then taken home by the driver. At this point, the man felt it was only right to adopt the pup.

“It escaped from great danger. This really moved me. This shows my fate with the dog.”

A lesson to be learned from this story is that you should always stop when you think you’ve hit an animal. Their life depends on it! Thankfully, there was a happy ending to this one.
