Between 2005 and 2014, the popularity of Pugs in the UK has skyrocketed. Well, the Pugs' popularity has been skyrocketing pretty much world-wide!

This documentary explores the reasons behind the Pug boom as the film maker and the casts meet some of the breed’s biggest fans.

“For the Love of Pugs” is a half hour documentary by Joe Woollen of JPW FILMS. It is a film made for Pug Lovers around the world!

(Well, I'd say it's not just for Pug Lovers around the world, but it's for all Dog Lovers… even all animal lovers!… to show them why these wrinkly, adorable creatures are so irresistibly adorable!

    Everyone knows that. I have been fortunate to have two pugs in my life, many many years apart, and they were both so beautful. Miss you both. The first one i named Mandy, the second was older and wa a lready named Mandy. Was meant to be.

    I have owned pugs for the last 57 years of my life. Most of them were rescued. I love my Pugs. I am devastated because I am disabled now, and can no longer walk a dog. I miss my Pugs like crazy. I am sad, and cry every day. My home is filled with pug memorabilia I have a shrine set up for my Pugs who have passed away, with their ashes, and photographs. My heart aches with emptiness without a pug besides me. But I have my memories to keep me happy, and I try and donate time to the Pug Rescue here in town.
