This documentary explores the reasons behind the Pug boom as the film maker and the casts meet some of the breed’s biggest fans.

“For the Love of Pugs” is a half hour documentary by Joe Woollen of JPW FILMS. It is a film made for Pug Lovers around the world!

  1. I love all dogs, I have had BostonTerrier and a pug. They are both so loving and so cute but I find the Boston to be a calmer dog. This makes them better for older people. Plus they much easier to train.

  2. The pugs with really soft fur do shed quite a bit, but they are such easy going and easy to care for dogs that they make up for it. I have a special brush called a furminator that I use every other week, so it really keeps the shedding to a bare minimum.

  3. Yes, when you lose one, it’s like a piece of your heart is lost!!! My current oldest pug is going on 15 and the youngest is 5. They are all rescue pugs. You should get another one as they also HEAL the heart. There is nothing like PUG LOVE!!! I’d be lost without my 4 legged children.

  4. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts !! I just love pugs . A friend of mine had one years ago . I thought it was such a great dog. We are thinking of getting a dog , looking at options. We have a 7 yr old and almost 12 yr old kids that really really want a Dog.
