Dog Has Her First Work Day As A Ski Patrol Dog, Easily Becomes The New Favorite

Cowgirl is a 9-week-old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever puppy, who is being hailed as the newest ski patrol member of Vail Ski Resort, one of the busiest ski mountains in America.

Cowgirl was in training under seasoned handler Kori Landauer.

Cowgirl is naturally very friendly and affectionate. She also loves to make others happy. Her hardworking, athletic, and agile temperament helps her give her best to her job as a strong patrol dog, which requires a great deal of stamina.

Recently, Cowgirl had her first day at work after successfully completing her training. She was thrilled at the visually appealing sights in the mountains, and spent a good amount of time taking in all the sensory delights around her!

Cowgirl impressed everyone with her skillful first-day watch, and is already a favorite among the staff and the senior patrol dogs.

The tiny pup looks at everything with wide-eyed wonder! We wish Cowgirl the best of luck during her run. We’re sure she will be the coolest ski patrol dog around!
