Homeless Stray Feared for Her Life. Once Rescuers Realized Her Condition, They Were Crushed

Hope for Paws is a nonprofit animal rescue organization. Their mission is to rescue dogs and other animals from living on the streets and in shelters.

Their work is amazing, and they've saved so many precious critters. After they've saved these sweet babes, they nurse them back to health and prepare them for a warm, loving home!

They recently came across a dog that broke their heart into pieces.

The rescue team had received a call that a little golden retriever named Clarabelle had been living on the streets and was in need of rescue. They made five different trips out to try and save her, but came short each time.

The little dog was too skittish and scared for them to get anywhere near her. It was evident that Clarabelle had endured traumatic circumstances and wanted as far away from human contact as possible.

On one particular trip, they finally managed to locate her hiding spot. She was found curled up, trembling in a corner.

When they attempted to get her out, she was so fearful for her fate that she covered her little eyes! We can only imagine what the poor girl has seen and experienced.

    You guys do a fantastic work ! I had tears in my eyes in seeing her and the transformation made because people gave her love that she had obviously not experienced before !
    I’m proud of all rescue workers including Australian workers too.

    Thank goodness she was rescued poor baby she must have had some terrible treatment don’t understand how any one can be so cruel to animals it makes me sick.Thank you for rescuing her hope she gets her forever loving home.
