Have you ever heard of the term ‘pre-departure cues'? It's what your dogs pick up on (e.g. your every movement.. lol) prior to your leaving.

For example, if you grab your car keys, or your coat and hat, and make your way to the door, your dog gets anxious right away.

Well, this is exactly what's happening with this Boxer. Whenever dad grabs his “walking” shoes, Brock the Boxer dog expects dad to ask him to go for a walk.

What happens if dad ignores Brock after he puts on his “walking” shoes?

    My heart goes out to you. As I was scrolling through the comments, this one caught my eye. My condolences are with you! Every once in awhile, I have the morbid thought of when the time may come for one of mine…it deeply saddens me, as just typing this has. My oldest who turns 6 tmrw, has all ready fought off cancer. My youngest, who will be 2 next month, keeps her energy levels up! I hope your heart is on the mend!

    Me and the wife had 3 boxer’s over the years love them the one we got now he’s white with just a brown patch on one eye he is deaf but we love him we’ve had him since a puppy he’s 3 now no one wanted him so we took him with no hesitation he’s very loving and loves his long walks you wife taught him basic sign language when I make the sign for walk he gone crazy he has a lot of problems with his skin we love him loads
