Pup Proves To Be A Mind Reader, But His Connection With Owner Goes Far Deeper

Dave, 42, is a police officer who has had a K-9 partner, a nine-year-old German Shepherd named Finn, for the last seven years.

He has been Dave’s best friend since he was a puppy, and the two of them share a very special connection.

In 2016, someone tried to stab Dave with a 10-inch knife while he was on duty. His life was in danger, but Finn bravely jumped in front of Dave to save his life, while risking his own.

Finn was left fighting for his own life, and to see Finn in that condition broke Dave’s heart.

Thanks to amazing vets and Finn’s resiliency, he pulled through and made a full recovery!

This year, Dave decided to team up with Finn and audition for Britain’s Got Talent, hoping to ‘wow’ the judges.

He begins by telling one of the judges to think of an object and then to write it down without showing him. He then tells him to walk up to the stage and reveal the word to Finn while Dave has his eyes closed.

The judge then returns to his seat and Finn walks over to Dave. There is no possible way that Dave could know what word the judge wrote down, yet after kneeling down and talking to Finn, Dave correctly guesses that the word was table, stunning the audience.

Finn then stuns the audience once more by guessing what word Simon was going to choose in a notebook filled with different words.

As expected, all four judges were touched by Dave and Finn’s story and all gave them a yes to the next round!
