Some people may say that it's too dangerous and risky to bring bring a baby into a home with a big dog…

…let alone letting the dog come anywhere near the baby, but dogs do make for loving, protective family members.

That's exactly the case here as Scout the Boxer gets introduced to and meets his newborn baby sister for the very first time! It's the sweetest thing ever!

    I have always wondered how my boys would be if I ever get grandkids… we got the boys when our kids were teens.. Mason is 5 and Mackie is 2.. my kids are in there 20s now

    Our Boxer, Irvan, slept on a rug right in front of of our daughter’s crib after she was born. I guarantee no one would have gotten near her to harm her with Irvan there to protect her. He would come wake us up during the night to make sure she was fed or diapers changed. He was her guardian up until the day he died. Boxers rule!
