Some people may say that it’s too dangerous and risky to bring bring a baby into a home with a big dog…

…let alone letting the dog come anywhere near the baby, but dogs do make for loving, protective family members.

That’s exactly the case here as Scout the Boxer gets introduced to and meets his newborn baby sister for the very first time! It’s the sweetest thing ever!

    Jax with our youngest daughter. Hes gentle as can be till you raise your voice or act like your gonna spat one of the kids. Then he gets a little upset..lol

    So my great niece came to the house and our dog has never even seen a baby. The entire week end he sat by her crib. I don’t even know where that came from.

    We’ve had a behaviourist out to evaluate him. He’s not aggressive at all. Just isn’t keen on kids as some dogs just aren’t but his growling isn’t a signal of aggression, it’s literally him saying that he doesn’t trust them. So behaviourist has said that Islas friends should throw a treat in the kitchen for him when they’re over ..eventually he will see them like he does my daughter x

    Mine is fab with children. We obviously make sure they do not hug, pull Herbie around. We have to be really careful around small children tho. Purely because he gets excited and I don’t think he realises how big he is.
