Adding a new member to your family is never easy. Whether you’re adding a pet or a newborn, for the rest of the members of the family it’s a transitioning process.

But because you love your family so much, you hope it will all go smoothly and help everyone grow and thrive together, as a family.

For the family in the video below, that’s exactly what happened. And they got it all on tape!

Astrid, an 18-month-old boxer, finally got to meet her newborn baby brother.

At first, she looks at him with a bit of confusion — looking him up and down with a tilted head.

Once she gets used to him and realizes he’s now a part of their family, Astrid sniffs, cuddles, and finds the perfect spot to rest her head right next to his.

These two, cute little faces are perfect enough to be on a calendar inside anyone’s home. Can you imagine how excited these parents were to capture this sweet cuddle on tape?

This is something that Astrid and her baby brother will cherish forever, and they certainly will grow old together.

    Boxers are particularly special, my boxer RIP hadn’t been around children, when a friend’s grandson visited we were Leary of her reaction,but she followed him around everywhere like a doting mother of the toddler. This is a precious story.
