Watching an abused, former puppy mill dog snuggle with a human for the first time is more than my heart can handle!

Anne Wuhrer rescued precious little Boston Terrier puppy, Noisette, an abusive puppy mill in Northern Virginia.

Noisette was thought to be somewhere between 1 and 3 years old at the time of the rescue, and was in rough shape when she was rescued.

She was dehydrated, with bad eyes and bad teeth, and was suffering from malnutrition on top of being anemic and covered in fleas, dirt and feces. Emotionally, she wasn't doing so well, either.

It took time for Noisette to “gradually adjust” to life outside of a filthy cage and to trust people again, but slowly they've made progress.

This video (featured Anne’s husband) is proof of that. Keep in mind he had to lay still on the floor for 20 minutes before this happened!

    We rescued Zoie from a puppy mill. TWO YEARS she spent living in a cage!! She had never seen trees! We could tell by how she acted when we took her out. She just stared at them. Today – she is the sweetest, most lovable baby you could ask for!!

    I got my lil boy from a puppy mill. He wasn’t supposed to survive because of a bad respiratory infection at his tiny 7wks. With lots of love and dedication though, he ultimately lived 1 week shy of his 14th bday, and that was only because cancer got him.

    I rescued Phoebe from. Puppy mill when she was 16 weeks. She was a love bug. I lost her this year at 15 years. She had so many medical issues….I called her my 10k rescue❤️Miss P pupmom misses you.

    Y we don’t like puppy mills no food no water no vets not taking care of doggies too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer they having babies back to back which kills the female close down puppy mills close on old puppy mills down now
