People always become conscious of medical conditions that change appearance. Vitiligo is one of these conditions in which the skin loses pigments. We are familiar with wonderful people having vitiligo but this canine is our role model to embrace flaws and to remind us that all of us are beautiful.
This is Blaze, a 10-year-old Labrador Retriever who lives in Finland with his dad, Santeri Frilander. The adorable pup went viral online when his dad shared his picture on Instagram.
Blaze was born with an all-black coat and vitiligo patches started to show when he grew up.
“The white color began spreading from a small spot on his ear,” Frilander stated. “Interestingly, all of his brothers and sisters still remain single-colored.”
Though his appearance changed, Blaze is a perfectly healthy dog and loves the outdoors. Santeri considers Blaze a big part of the family.
“He’s always ready to join you wherever you go,” mentioned his dad. “He even loves to travel iпѕidе a car.”
Since Blaze’s picture went viral, his dad created an Instagram page just for him.
“He likes to make people happy and put a smile on their faces,” Santeri added. “He is 10 years оld now and has received a few nicknames because of his age, like ‘The Old Man’ and ‘The Funny Оld Man.’”
Blaze may not look like his siblings, but he is a reminder that everyone is incredible regardless of their appearance. We love him even more!
