    We had a baby horse,Noughty. his name was Arty because it was Artyficaily Inseminated(Sorry about the spelling}He used to follow me up the Field and Bite me ,he loved me but wanted attention,I had five dogs and when I throwe a stick or ball he would get to it before the dogs,and rare up on his back legs if they got the ball.I tell you takeing them all out for a walk wasnt boreing..

    Well you almost can’t blame it, horses only have so many ways of getting our attention. It just so happens that a playful little kick from a horse to a human is more like a death kick from Jean Claude Van Dam!

    You do not train a horse by hitting them. I owned a horse that had been hit over the head with a piece of wood and it took me a long time for her to trust me. She would shy when I wanted to pet her head but I finally gained her trust. I do not know who put her through that but it was wrong! There is other ways to correct bad behavior.

    I did not say hit. I said smack. Big difference. A quick slap will let her know a kick is not right. You’re talking like I’d beat the horse. Not so. A baby will test you everyday. Let them get away with kicking will only create a monster as they get older
