Boxers have so much energy that they may not stop playing long enough to drink water and cool down. Their shorter muzzles also make it more difficult to breathe.

Force them to take breaks if they’re playing outside and avoid letting them run around outside too much during the hottest part of the day.

  1. The majority of those breeds are short muzzled, no wonder they don’t do well in heat. Poor dogs can’t even breath normally…
    And for those who own dogs with thick fur in a hot country, shame on you. Those breeds aren’t made for this. Please get a dog which suits you and your countries conditions.
