    We have had two Golden Retrievers in our lives and could never say goodbye to another. Too heartbreaking. But they are the best dog anyone could own. Biased? Just get one and you will feel the same.

    Going thru that heart break right now..recently had to euthanize our Bailey who was struggling with cancer. Still wrestling with if we should of given her more time. She was 12 1/2 and anemic and throwing up and unsteady the day we rushed her to the vet to end her suffering. We did all we could..anymore would be selfish but the vision of her on that table and the idea of letting her go..her sweet eyes looking at us..killed ME..I just whispered how wonderful and how much she did for us..she gave the vet a small wag of her tail. I hope she is in peace. So true..Goldens are such a special breed.
