In the African jungle, conservationist Damian Aspinall searches for Kwibi, a lowland gorilla that he hasn’t seen for over 5 years.

For 10 years, The Aspinall Foundation has been reintroducing captive gorillas back into the wild. Kwibi grew up with Damian at his Howletts Wild Animal Park in England and when he turned 5, he was released into the forests of Gabon to their million acre reserves in West Africa.

Now Kwibi is 10 years old, much bigger and stronger and Damien wants to find him. But this could be an incredibly dangerous escapade.

As they travel down the river for numerous hours, they finally find the gorilla they have been looking for and he instantly recognizes Damian.
