While this is typically undesirable behavior, dogs jump on people because they like them. When you come home after work or from running some errands, your dog is excited and wants to rejoice at your return! While it’s better to teach dogs another, more acceptable way to share their excitement, jumping should be seen as a display of affection.

  1. My pup hits every one of these, but my favorite is that he follows me around!! He will cry for me when I am in the shower and bark at blond haired women on tv if I am not home. I adore that about him, that he adores me!!

  2. when your dog follows you everywhere, jumps on the bed at around bed time before you do and walks into the shower while your in there, its a pretty good sign they are obsessed with you.
