    Did your vet say to only buy the dog food he sells at his office? They make a profit off that. Do you know how many shareholders of dog food are vets.
    I have pancreatitis myself. My Dr. did not say it was from eating bland human grade food.
    Did he give you the detailed results of the studies done on how many dogs were fed “road kill, chicken beaks, feathers, horse hoofs, and rotten and cancer ridden animals, and spoiled vegetables? Vs. Food you would feed a child? Although if there was a law, it would not be enforced in the era we live in today, There is No Regulation of what can be put in dog food.
    I am just well read, and it certainly just makes sense.

    And I will add, if your dog is fed table scraps along with dog food, it certainly can cause digestive problems. They can get used to dog food. Then, add table foods, and it could cause problems. I am no expert, I just live to love and take care of animals, and I do not get a profit from doing it.
    I usually spend Sunday making dog food. Rice, chicken, sweet potatoes, eggs, oatmeal.
    My vet said, you are probably tired of all that prep, dog food is fine.
    I also feed her salmon, liver, cottage cheese…
    Her coat is shines more, and she is happier.

    I share a green apple with my Havanese, Elliott, every night. He LOVES green apples. And Carmex…if I put some on my lips, I have to put some on his, too. He’s freaky like that.

    My dogs eat most of this. Found out recently one of mine really dogs brie. The others are kind of take or leave it. It’s cheese so that’s always good, but one really really loves brie.

    This is stupid. You can feed them anything natural we eat especially if its got protein. Although I had a Rottie rip who allergic to beef and steak, he loved cheese, sausage bites,cottage cheese , fish, chicken meat, or pizza crust. My rotties now go crazy over T bones. Ribs, and lieves of white castle burgers lol… Mind you just a little taste. They do eat thier own food. Most like a spoon of something on top. Fyi….never give broccoli or cabbage…. They will fart. Lol
