One of the best dogs for children of all ages, Labrador Retrievers are kindly, good-natured, and take most things in stride.

Most Labrador Retrievers are very friendly with everyone, though compared to Golden Retrievers, many Labs are just a bit more conservative with their affections.

Since there are literally millions of happy Labrador lovers around the world, why shouldn’t everyone love a Lab?

Given the breed’s good looks, trainability, loyalty, intelligence, etc., why isn’t this the dog for everyone on the planet who loves dogs?!

    My father’s family is Scottish and Hamish McBeth is one of his favourite TV shows. He was always going to call a son Hamish but got 4 daughters instead. When we got our lab puppy, the puppy was immediately named Hamish. His second name emerged after we started to learn what it was like to live with a Labrador……and life has never been so interesting since then

    I agree too I have two a chocolate and a yellow they’re very intelligent dogs my yellow won’t come inside until my husband is home he knows just when he’s suppose to love them to pieces
