    My Yorkie was diagnosed with cancer in June 2014. He passed away in my backyard not even 2 weeks later. He was13 and we got him before we decided to have kids. My two boys knew Rocky since the day they were born and he would protect them when they were little and sleep at the end of their beds when they were sick. The only comfort it you can call it that is that he went fast and I didn’t have to make the decision to put him down. He was older and couldn’t get around like he used to. He would sleep on my bed most nights but as he got older he couldn’t make it up to the bed. That last night he slept in my bed and didn’t leave my side. It’s like he knew that would be the last time he’d see me.

    I didn’t get to be with my Napoleon when he died. He was coming out of surgery to have some teeth pulled, but never recovered. He was 13 and I thought for sure I’d have him at least 3 more years cuz he was always so healthy. It was heart wrenching.

    Everybody needs to read this I was with my baby girl when she crossed rainbow bridge 3 months ago and even now sometimes at night I wake up and cry because I miss her so much so make them part of your family and enjoy every minute u have with them they are the only true love u will ever no I do all of these things with my Buddy now and will until its his turn to cross rainbow bridge I hope they are waiting for me when it’s my turn love them so
