    I know, the last eyes I want my dogs to see before their eyes close are mine. It’s the least I can do for them, for it was an honor to raise them and see them to the very end.

    I have been there with all but one of mine on the final day….it was the least I could do for all the bad times; they had seen me through. I have always said that IS the hardest day of pet ownership.

    Our Georgia Girl will be 6 this Jan. how fast time has flown with her.. I keep reading 10 years is about it. Makes me sad to think of it, so we just enjoy her bulldog antics as much as we can now. Over our 48 years we have many that will meet us at the Rainbow Bridge.
