20 Things All Dog Owners Must Never Forget

It's been often said that dogs are the only creatures on earth that love you more than they love themselves. Well, ain't that the truth!

Here are some of our favorite dog quotes that are short and to the point, but that really conveyed how we felt about dogs, and why we do what we do here at PawBuzz:

“Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.”
“Outside of a dog, a book is man’s best friend. Inside of a dog it’s too dark to read.”
“Whoever said diamonds are a girl’s best friend never owned a dog.”
“Unconditional love is as close as your nearest shelter.”
“What a beautiful world it would be if people had hearts like dogs.”
“In a perfect world, every dog would have a home and every home would have a dog.”

a dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself – Josh Billings

Sometimes, we take our furry friends and wonderful companions for granted.

If we want to pay back the favor and give them the best life possible, these 20 important reminders should serve you well as awesome dog owners. The last one (#20) brought me to tears…

  1. Saying goodbye sucks ..but it is part of raising or having a relationship w any living creature …would u let your child or best friend die w a stranger at their side ….I think not ! Teach your children that you don’t walk away just bcuz its hard to do

  2. I dread the day I have to say goodbye to Annie rose. She was originally my mothers and when mom passed she eventually ended up with me. She will be 14 next month and she is my sidekick. I would be lost without her as her love helped me through the darkest of times.

  3. We had to say goodbye to our boy Tyson last year…. Poor baby didn’t even make it to his 2nd birthday before his kidneys shut down. He was our best friend but we were there for his last breath and it was one of the hardest moments of our lives 🙁
