20 Things All Dog Owners Must Never Forget

It's been often said that dogs are the only creatures on earth that love you more than they love themselves. Well, ain't that the truth!

Here are some of our favorite dog quotes that are short and to the point, but that really conveyed how we felt about dogs, and why we do what we do here at PawBuzz:

“Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.”
“Outside of a dog, a book is man’s best friend. Inside of a dog it’s too dark to read.”
“Whoever said diamonds are a girl’s best friend never owned a dog.”
“Unconditional love is as close as your nearest shelter.”
“What a beautiful world it would be if people had hearts like dogs.”
“In a perfect world, every dog would have a home and every home would have a dog.”

a dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself – Josh Billings

Sometimes, we take our furry friends and wonderful companions for granted.

If we want to pay back the favor and give them the best life possible, these 20 important reminders should serve you well as awesome dog owners. The last one (#20) brought me to tears…

  1. I have one who made himself the house dog, one who just well has to be a pain in the butt so he’s in for one second out for one second, we have two who are outside dogs but if it’s two cold they come in, but my last one you have to let off a fire work to get his butt inside when it’s to cold, he rather be in his dog house sleeping on his hay. And yes I have five

  2. Here are my girls. Elko and Reno. Love my labs! I couldn’t imagine loving anything more then these two. They rule the house. I recently had to let my black lab Pepsi go. I cherish the 10 years I had with her. To me my labs are my babies. All they show you is unconditional love.

  3. The last one is the worst, I had to say goodbye to my old girl who was 18 2 years ago nearly now and I still remember that day, but we were there hugging kissing her and stroking her whilst she took her last breath at home in her fav spot on her bed in front of the radiator… All dogs deserve loving homes and a loving family

  4. 5yr old rescue biggest pain in the butt but also biggest love when you need someone to cuddle with! Just got to train them they do behave well after learning and this one thinks she’s human but spoiled now after spending time on the streets and being a mom but no puppies were found with her. Breaks our hearts to think what happened to her or the puppies
