20 Things All Dog Owners Must Never Forget

It's been often said that dogs are the only creatures on earth that love you more than they love themselves. Well, ain't that the truth!

Here are some of our favorite dog quotes that are short and to the point, but that really conveyed how we felt about dogs, and why we do what we do here at PawBuzz:

“Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.”
“Outside of a dog, a book is man’s best friend. Inside of a dog it’s too dark to read.”
“Whoever said diamonds are a girl’s best friend never owned a dog.”
“Unconditional love is as close as your nearest shelter.”
“What a beautiful world it would be if people had hearts like dogs.”
“In a perfect world, every dog would have a home and every home would have a dog.”

a dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself – Josh Billings

Sometimes, we take our furry friends and wonderful companions for granted.

If we want to pay back the favor and give them the best life possible, these 20 important reminders should serve you well as awesome dog owners. The last one (#20) brought me to tears…

  2. Oh Regina look at that little face looking out with his adorable paw up on the fence. We had our dog, Kevin, with his breeder for a holiday and when we picked him up she told us that he looked down the driveway every day. He loves us and we love him. I love dogs so much I want to hug them all and tell them that they are all loved.

  3. My dog comes up and wraps his head around me and gives me a hug when I’m sad. I understand dog body language extremely well. I think some dogs love hugs, just as some humans dislike hugs.

  4. Our last picture of our Thai taken on good Friday and never did we imagine on easter Monday 2015 we would be sitting on the vet floor stroking, kissing and talking to him as he passed over to rainbow bridge. Still miss him so much he was our first boxer and he is the reason we now have a 5 year old rescue and 7 month old pup (both boxers) x

  5. My little Eskie is my whole life and I love her like no one else. She loves me back the same way and I would do anything for her. She’s only 2 so I am hoping for a lot of loving years to come, but you never know what can happen and when. She goes with me almost everywhere and has a lot of human friends whom she loves. When it’s her time to leave, I will be holding her every step of the way.

  6. Beagles are the best and for those who are a little wild, give them time. It could be the puppy stage, results of being in a mill or shelter etc… Whatever the reason may be, just give lotS of love. Beagles are such emotional and loving dogs. I love mine as my own child and would do anything for him.

  7. All of creation is a reflection of God’s great love. Our pets are a reminder of that love. I was blessed by Nikki and Butterscotch, two of the most amazing dogs ever and two of the best presents I have received in my 78 years.

  8. Just give him time. They usually calm down. I have a one and a half year old and he eats anything. My other beagle wasn’t exactly like this. Either way, they are the most lovable and emotional dogs. They are the best
