20 Things All Dog Owners Must Never Forget

It's been often said that dogs are the only creatures on earth that love you more than they love themselves. Well, ain't that the truth!

Here are some of our favorite dog quotes that are short and to the point, but that really conveyed how we felt about dogs, and why we do what we do here at PawBuzz:

“Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.”
“Outside of a dog, a book is man’s best friend. Inside of a dog it’s too dark to read.”
“Whoever said diamonds are a girl’s best friend never owned a dog.”
“Unconditional love is as close as your nearest shelter.”
“What a beautiful world it would be if people had hearts like dogs.”
“In a perfect world, every dog would have a home and every home would have a dog.”

a dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself – Josh Billings

Sometimes, we take our furry friends and wonderful companions for granted.

If we want to pay back the favor and give them the best life possible, these 20 important reminders should serve you well as awesome dog owners. The last one (#20) brought me to tears…

  1. Our Golden is by far our best dog ever!!! She makes us happy every day. She loves our grandbabies and we have total trust in her when they are sharing a sipee cup with her. They put their tiny fingers up her nose, play with her big teeth and lay on her and take naps. She is amazing.

  2. Losing a furry family member is so hard and I have found more closure than I expected by being with my dog in her final moments. Both of our souls found some peace in that last goodbye and I’ll always know that the last thing she felt and heard was how much I loved her. I’m so sorry for your loss.

  3. Patty Pineda, thank you for your kind words, I don’t even know you but they mean so much. I miss my Molly Beth so, just wish it didn’t hurt so bad. She was so much a part of my life it’s just not the same home without her. This is a pic of her last Christmas at our tree…. That little girl will always be in my heart…. Merry Christmas to you & you’re little fur-baby !
