20 Things All Dog Owners Must Never Forget

It's been often said that dogs are the only creatures on earth that love you more than they love themselves. Well, ain't that the truth!

Here are some of our favorite dog quotes that are short and to the point, but that really conveyed how we felt about dogs, and why we do what we do here at PawBuzz:

“Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.”
“Outside of a dog, a book is man’s best friend. Inside of a dog it’s too dark to read.”
“Whoever said diamonds are a girl’s best friend never owned a dog.”
“Unconditional love is as close as your nearest shelter.”
“What a beautiful world it would be if people had hearts like dogs.”
“In a perfect world, every dog would have a home and every home would have a dog.”

a dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself – Josh Billings

Sometimes, we take our furry friends and wonderful companions for granted.

If we want to pay back the favor and give them the best life possible, these 20 important reminders should serve you well as awesome dog owners. The last one (#20) brought me to tears…

  1. I lost my Buster in March. He was still a baby, not even 4 yet. I miss him so much every day. I hope the memories you have of your Fleur help you heal. It’s not easy and I’m so sorry for your loss.

  2. Ugh. #20 killed me. We lost our Boston to cancer in March. We had no choice but to say goodbye and let him go. He was deteriorating quickly, and I couldn’t get the strength to be next to him when he faded away. I held him so close when they sedated him but when they took him to let him go I couldn’t be there. My husband stayed but I couldn’t I was crying so hard and it wasn’t peaceful with me in there. To this day I regret not being by his side. I was so hard. All I could do was stand outside the door and cry my heart out 🙁

Yes I cried reading the last few
