20 Things All Pug Owners Must Never Forget

What some call ugly others might call irresistibly cute! The Pug has turned into one of the most popular dogs in the United States.

These lovable dogs with wrinkly, short-muzzled faces and curled tails are often described as a lot of dogs in a small space.

Sometimes playful and clownish, sometimes calm and dignified, always sturdy and stable, good-humored and amiable — that is the Pug.

It’s been often said that dogs are the only creatures on earth that love you more than they love themselves. Well, Pugs are no exception!

But sometimes, we take our furry friends and wonderful companions for granted. There are important life lessons that are sometimes easy to forget in our hectic lives, that all Pug owners must never forget.

If we want to pay back the favor and give them the best life possible, these 20 important reminders should serve you well as awesome Pug owners. The last one (#20) brought me to tears…

  1. Actually, very good stuff there. I like to *think* that everyone knows all those things & does them all with their Puggos, but sadly, I know it’s not true. All 3 of my Puggies (1 has been gone 2 years now–miss her every day) have been rescues. <3

  2. We have had our pug Hugo since Christmas Eve and life would not be the same without him. He’s a bit crazy at times but he has the best nature and personality ever and he showed it well at a local show today, every child was obsessed with him and he gave each child the same attention, hugs and affection for the 5 hours that we were there watching the show. For being 9 months old he is such a star ❤️⭐️

  3. I lost my precious Tigerlily when she was 10 1/12. She died in my arms of Mesothelioma. Have NO idea how or why she developed that disease. I had such a huge hole in my heart that needed to be filled and managed to find an adorable black pug puppy about a week and a half later. Luna does replace Tigerlily as she is her own self. Boy is she her own self! I miss Tiger every day. Luna is my baby now <3 <3

  4. Pugs are little fur covered angels. We are so blessed to have them. They are truly a gift from God; precious little balls of love and deliciousness that make an otherwise hateful and painful world a little more worth living. I would give anything if my baby Mugsy could be by my side forever
