20 Things All Pug Owners Must Never Forget

What some call ugly others might call irresistibly cute! The Pug has turned into one of the most popular dogs in the United States.

These lovable dogs with wrinkly, short-muzzled faces and curled tails are often described as a lot of dogs in a small space.

Sometimes playful and clownish, sometimes calm and dignified, always sturdy and stable, good-humored and amiable — that is the Pug.

It’s been often said that dogs are the only creatures on earth that love you more than they love themselves. Well, Pugs are no exception!

But sometimes, we take our furry friends and wonderful companions for granted. There are important life lessons that are sometimes easy to forget in our hectic lives, that all Pug owners must never forget.

If we want to pay back the favor and give them the best life possible, these 20 important reminders should serve you well as awesome Pug owners. The last one (#20) brought me to tears…

  1. Sorry for your loss had to put my 10 1/2 year old boy Huckstable the black one my profile pic down Sunday also. held his head between my hands and put my face to his as he went! one of the hardest things I have ever done!

  2. I can’t imagine anyone leaving an dog outside to sleep at night, Even in the city they can come in contact with sick animals, and predators. It doesn’t take a wolf, bear, alligator or coyote to hurt your animal, some raccoons are as large or larger than small dogs and fierce. If you don’t believe you have coyotes, raccoons, possums or huge rats in the city, sit on your back porch all night in the dark with a flashlight and just listen. Oh don’t forget an owl can pick up a Chihuahua. And then there is weather and temperature considerations. If you don’t want to sleep outside by yourself, your pet doesn’t want to either. Please make a safe temperature controlled place for your animal, at least in the laundry room, clean basement, or garage if you can’t leave them in your house. If they make a mistake, oh well, I’d rather clean a hundred mistakes than see my animal have to go through, sickness, pain and a pet visit, and the keeping them healthy and happy is much cheaper than vet bills to fix them when they are not.

  3. 90% of people marry there 7th grade love. since u have read this, u will be told good news 2night. if u don’t pass this on nine comments ur worst week starts now this isn’t fake. apparently if u copy and paste this on ten comments in the next ten minutes you will have the best day of ur life tomorrow. you will either get kissed or asked out in the next 53 minutes someone will say i love u

  4. I’ve had pugs for over 18 years and they are the sweetest, cudleiest dogs I had the time to spend with each and every one of them and I love all animals.
