20 Things All Labrador Owners Must Never Forget

One of the best dogs for children of all ages, Labrador Retrievers are kindly, good-natured, and take most things in stride.

Most Labrador Retrievers are very friendly with everyone, though compared to Golden Retrievers, many Labs are just a bit more conservative with their affections.

  1. #20….ugh. Back in June, we had to let Chunk go at the age of 14. I was sad and scared to go through the experience of the final journey. We sat next to him the entire time petting him and talking to him until he passed. Fortunately, I have two other labs to keep me busy, but I miss Chunk every day.

  2. Number 20 is by far the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. My sweet Marley had a lot of health issues and she finally developed cancer. I laid in the floor of the vets office with her till she passed and to this day months later I still miss her as much as I did the first day. She was such a sweet girl.

  3. I wish every dog had a good life. This is our Lucy. 2 years new;) She loves when we talk to her. She loves kisses and cuddles on the bed. She loves running in the orchards. A big hunk of love. I hope she lives forever.
