Most Labrador Retrievers are very friendly with everyone, though compared to Golden Retrievers, many Labs are just a bit more conservative with their affections.

    Yes #20 will make you tearful, but if your vet will c ome to your’s and your dog’s home to do this, it is much less traumatic on your dog. My baby was almost 14 when the time came and she had become anxious when she went to the vet, thinking I was not taking her home. (It was where she also boarded). At the end she was in the home she loved, and with me who she loved so much as I did her. On her bed and in it’s usual place. It will cost more, but totally worth it. Just go without a VT lattes and a few less meals out.

    I can never replace one dog for another they were all different. it takes me a while to let myself fall truly in love with the new one. I take good care of it and give it alot of attention but I am in so much grief I can’t get around it. then one day I look into their eyes and it happens. The LOVE becomes real.

    My sweet girl has been by my side for 9 years…I absolutely cannot fathom a life without her in it…I hope my #20 doesn’t happen anytime soon, but I will always be by her side just like she has been by mine
