    I lost my yellow girl, Amazing Grace, two years ago this month. She had just turned six….too young to leave me, but she had cancer of the liver. I still miss her soooo much. However, three days before she died our chocolate girl, Bella Maria, was born. We had a very empty house for eight weeks before Bella came to be with us. Last March we brought home our Valentine’s Day puppy, our yellow Lab, Luca. Our house is full of Lab love and waggining tails. Yes, Ivy…LABS RULE!!!

    Here is my chocolate, Bella, and my yellow, Luca. They sleep on our bed, snuggled between us. I prepare raw food for them every week…takes me 4 hours, but they are worth it. They sit and watch me, and I give them little bits. Bella is a drooler….I love my girls!!!!

    the last one is tough but I always lay on the floor with them at the vets until they take their last breathe and still I find it hard to leave as I can’t believe they are really gone and even though I know I did the right thing I question myself about what I have done.
