One of the best dogs for children of all ages, Labrador Retrievers are kindly, good-natured, and take most things in stride.

Most Labrador Retrievers are very friendly with everyone, though compared to Golden Retrievers, many Labs are just a bit more conservative with their affections.

It’s been often said that dogs are the only creatures on earth that love you more than they love themselves. Well, Labrador Retrievers are no exception!

    I came to twenty with my beautiful black labrador called Judy. Ten years has passed since I had to say goodbye to her because she had cancer. Not a single day has passed, that I dont miss and love her as I did in life. Oh, just to spend one more day with her would mean more to me than anything else. My heart goes out to anyone that has loved and lost their beloved dog.

    How terribly sad for you. However, you can take some comfort that you loved and cared for your beautiful Molly. I understand your sadness. You will always hold her memory in your heart and that will be with you until the end of time.

    I’m on the verge of letting my go. Black lab -13-. She still wags her tail if I speak louder than usual. I could go on…but I could use some help in the process of letting her go. She is the best part of my life. I think this is my hardest decision of my life.

    So sorry for your loss x I lost my boy of 13 years on Mother’s Day this year broke my heart and it still does to this very day I miss him so much (and I know you know how that feels) xx

    I lost my Lennox last year on 8 July 2015, I was sad and I didn’t sleep or eat anything for about 7 over days, I know he is suppose to go when he was about 13 but he choose to hold on for another 2 years to make sure he is still with me and keeps me accompany, he knows I will be very lonely when he is gone….. now I can still feels he is around at home, his usual noise he make, using his wet nose to touch me and so much more….. I can said Lennox do love me more then himself …… Lennox I know you care about my well being ….. I do and please forgive me that I am not around on your very last moment …… I am sorry …..

    Awe..each one made smile and cry–knowing that my family and I loved our Sammy the best we ever could all the way down to hugging him till he left this earth. I so…miss my lab Sammy

    It’s one of the hardest yet most selfless things you can do. Letting go is for a while. I sincerely believe that we’ll be reunited. Something that full of love must be from God and He knows our hearts. I have lost dogs long ago and still miss and love them all individually. You will find the strength when you need it. God hears our prayers.
