20 Things All Labrador Owners Must Never Forget

One of the best dogs for children of all ages, Labrador Retrievers are kindly, good-natured, and take most things in stride.

Most Labrador Retrievers are very friendly with everyone, though compared to Golden Retrievers, many Labs are just a bit more conservative with their affections.

  1. You’ll always remember and miss them.
Over the last 10 years I let 2 Chocolate Labs off to the Bridge. ( Duke and Rocky)
On June 3, 2016, I brought Hannah, my 14 1/2 yo GSP to the vet for the last time. This is Hannah 2 hours before we left.
BTW. All have been buried on the property with flowers and markers. They will all be forever in my heart as I am sure your baby girl will be.

  2. So sorry for your loss of Jess what a beautiful girl, I understand how you feel I lost my Bramble boy just 2 weeks ago, he had a good long life and was 16 but it didn’t make it easier, a price of my heart definitely went with him xx

  3. It’s only been 2 weeks since I lost my sweet Bramble boy I was with him till the end, he had a good innings at 16 but it didn’t make it any easier, the house feels so empty, he will always have a piece of my heart, best boy in the world I always told him

  4. Tracey Worrell Thankyou for your kind words.I am very sorry for your loss, words will never express the pain of losing such a faithful friend. All we can do is hang on to the special memories of which I’m sure you have many xx

  5. My Lab Sawyer is 9 1/2 years old.
We got him a new friend, Messi (Golden Doodle) who is now 9 1/2 weeks.
Sawyer is the best teacher, companion, friend we will ever know. One of my biggest regrets is not getting him a friend years ago.

  6. This is our first lab, Ben, he was a part of our family for 18 years, he grow up with our kids, took four years before we could let another dog into our lives, now we have had our new chocolate lab for 18 months, lost our hearts to him within 2 seconds ❤️❤️
