20 Things All Husky Owners Must Never Forget

The Siberian Husky is a beautiful dog that is free-spirited and (usually) good-natured with everyone. He is very playful, athletic, agile, and light on his feet. He loves the great outdoors and requires vigorous exercise, especially in cool weather.

He should be taken running, hiking, and/or biking every day, always on-leash, for he is independent and born to run. If something catches his interest, he'll be gone. Teaching him to pull carts and sleds gives him a purpose in life.

It’s been often said that dogs are the only creatures on earth that love you more than they love themselves. Well, Huskies are no exception!

But sometimes, we take our furry friends and wonderful companions for granted. There are important life lessons that are sometimes easy to forget in our hectic lives, that all Husky owners must never forget.

If we want to pay back the favor and give them the best life possible, these 20 important reminders should serve you well as awesome Husky owners. The last one (#20) brought me to tears…

  1. I love this so much! My Husky was my boyfriends and when we got together I was a little scared of him and it took me a while to get used to him. (He would by my first dog ever!) Now we all live together and my boyfriend gets upset that he is always with me and not him anymore! Hehe 🙂 we both love him so much and he has and continues to bring so much joy and happiness to my life!! This is our handsome boy, Cooper!!

  2. I adopted my husky with all the typical bad husky habits. He’s a runner and independent and stubborn. But I love him anyway. It wasn’t until I met my husband and his 2 daughters that he finally showed interest in people. He loves those girls more than anything, they can do anything they want to him. When they go home to their moms he sits outside their bedroom door waiting for them to come back. He still couldn’t care less for my husband and I. But we love to see how excited he is everything they come home.
