The Siberian Husky is a beautiful dog that is free-spirited and (usually) good-natured with everyone. He is very playful, athletic, agile, and light on his feet. He loves the great outdoors and requires vigorous exercise, especially in cool weather.

He should be taken running, hiking, and/or biking every day, always on-leash, for he is independent and born to run. If something catches his interest, he'll be gone. Teaching him to pull carts and sleds gives him a purpose in life.

It’s been often said that dogs are the only creatures on earth that love you more than they love themselves. Well, Huskies are no exception!

But sometimes, we take our furry friends and wonderful companions for granted. There are important life lessons that are sometimes easy to forget in our hectic lives, that all Husky owners must never forget.

    I love my husky Sasha such a sweet dog and absolutely loves the snow!! Once the snow starts to melt she always seems to sleep on the last snow bank she can find!! Loves the cold weather! The heat. It so much.

    Bella had a belly ache tonight. Mark bought a new treat ( rawhide with chicken jerky around it ) I’m gonna have to watch her. They might not be good. I told him no because of the chicken, but, he said it would be fine. I don’t think so. She has a sensitive stomach. We will see. I hope that she doesn’t get samenella ! ( Hope I spelled that right )

    I know how you feel Beaux died suddenly in the backyard I was there to hold him as he passed. Vet thought it was a heart attack. I haven’t been the same since there is a huge void in my life.

    The last one got me. I still remember the night our husky$#%&!@*(Koda) died. She sat with all of us, one by one, in the living room and then walked into the garden and died. That was over 3 years ago and I still miss her, she was a great dog and loved by all who met her. If there is a doggy heaven she deserves to be there!
