The Siberian Husky is a beautiful dog that is free-spirited and (usually) good-natured with everyone. He is very playful, athletic, agile, and light on his feet. He loves the great outdoors and requires vigorous exercise, especially in cool weather.

He should be taken running, hiking, and/or biking every day, always on-leash, for he is independent and born to run. If something catches his interest, he'll be gone. Teaching him to pull carts and sleds gives him a purpose in life.

It’s been often said that dogs are the only creatures on earth that love you more than they love themselves. Well, Huskies are no exception!

But sometimes, we take our furry friends and wonderful companions for granted. There are important life lessons that are sometimes easy to forget in our hectic lives, that all Husky owners must never forget.

    I have a question, my siberian has been with us for 8 years has not had a lot of contact with othet dogs. Recently a neighbor that has a female wanted to breed them, we consented and they have been together several times. Now he sits outside howling for her. Is it possible for them to choose a life mate like some other animals do?
