  1. Its so hard to lose such an important part of our lives. Sadie (my Red Heeler) just turned 12 last Nov. and that is the breed’s usual life span. She does everything with me, even goes to work with me, man its going to hurt…..

  2. Just read the 20 things a Golden Retierver owner should never forget. I lost my two Golden’s 3 years ago within two weeks from each other. They were father and son, Bud was 17 years old and his son Max was 14 years old. Seeing these pictures my heart is hurting all over again. You can never forget the happiness these Golden’s bring to your life.

  3. Awwww…….the other one died of a broken heart. My girl is in her 10th year and really slowing down. First big dog and she really is the best dog in the world…to me/us. I think I will need drugs when she goes……

  4. My golden has a tumor now. He’s 12 years old and still enjoys his walks. He’s my beautiful boy whom I love dearly. I will do whatever I can for him. I will be there when it’s his time.
