    I know what you mean. We had a big white male named Sony that lived 17 years; when we finally had to put him down me, Mama, our Vet, and his nurse were all crying. We now have another big white male (Hot Rod) and his sister ‘Miss Eleanor.’ We can’t imagine life without these wonderful, loving ‘kids.’

    Had them for most of our martied life. They were wonderful with out children. Never had to worry about them, they were always with the children. I worked in a police station and the handeler told me it was the only breed that could be sent to catch a criminal and turn the dog around to fetch a child. Wonderful breed. I still miss ours.
