20 Things All English Bulldog Owners Must Never Forget

Despite his gloomy mug, the English Bulldog is one of the most amiable of all breeds. Some English Bulldogs are friendly with strangers, while others are politely reserved.

Though stubborn, the English Bulldog is surprisingly sensitive, remembers what he learns, and responds well to patient, persistent training that utilizes food motivation. Jerking this breed around accomplishes absolutely nothing.

  1. So all you bull dog owners.. Have you had a lot of Heath issues? I’ve heard they can and vet bills could add up. I want one some time in my life but am scared that I won’t be able to afford one if they are sick????

  2. Ours is only 4 and we spend $3-400 at the vet what seems like every other month due to his health. Mainly skin issues, respirator, swollen paws, stomach issues, they are quite expensive

  3. But in saying all this his beautiful loving character is all worth it.. I would just recommend rescuing a bulldog so that instead of paying $4000 for a dog then finding out what issues it has you will have a rescue a little older and know what you’re getting yourself into
