Though stubborn, the English Bulldog is surprisingly sensitive, remembers what he learns, and responds well to patient, persistent training that utilizes food motivation. Jerking this breed around accomplishes absolutely nothing.

    After reading the article and looking at the pictures and comments I cried tonight. I have good memories about my bulldogs. One lived to be 12 1/2 and the other 10 1/2. They have been gone many years, but tonight it felt very fresh.

    Buddy Bristol I am so sorry for your loss. She was beautiful. Our English Bullie is Meathead (we call him Meaty) and he is my baby, just like his Daddy (my son) is/was my baby. We all love him and would be lost if anything happened to him. He will be 5 in May.

    Our bullie does not like to have his picture taken and usually turns his head before we can catch the moment. He is our baby, and we all love him more than anything. His name is Meathead.

    Thank you. My TANK would have been 5 this year. She was such a sweetheart, I miss her every day! So sad how She died,She was very healthy, my parents took her to the vet to get her fixed and she died before they Even did the surgery. They negleced to watch her.
