20 Things All English Bulldog Owners Must Never Forget

Despite his gloomy mug, the English Bulldog is one of the most amiable of all breeds. Some English Bulldogs are friendly with strangers, while others are politely reserved.

Though stubborn, the English Bulldog is surprisingly sensitive, remembers what he learns, and responds well to patient, persistent training that utilizes food motivation. Jerking this breed around accomplishes absolutely nothing.

  1. So far, my Pitbull has had a larger financial footprint than my English bulldog. My chihuahua’s dental work will put him at a close second. I know a few people that have had bad luck with high vet bills, because they settled for a “less expensive” pup from an inexperienced breeder. The parents also had issues that could have made a buyer turn around. Not all Bulldogs have these issues.
    Nice public service announcement anyway

  2. Chuggs my first bully. I joke with my wife that he’s gonna live forever but just in case he doesn’t I’m gonna have him stuffed. I do t tho I if be able to sleep right without him taking up my side of the bed while snoring and farting all night.

  3. This is Lucy. She was my very first bulldog. She lived to be 12 years old and passed in 2013. And I still haven’t moved on from it. She was the most playful, adorable pup a girl could ask for. Hopefully, in the future, I’m able to be blessed with another just like her.
