Doberman pinschers are considered people-oriented dogs that are affectionate and sweet with people, if socialized and trained properly.
They are loyal to their owners and are good with children if raised with them; however, some Dobermans bond only to one person.
It’s been often said that dogs are the only creatures on earth that love you more than they love themselves. Well, Doberman Pinschers are no exception!

Our dobie is such a baby if we leave her for anything longer than work she refuses to eat, we went on vacation for 4 days, she was home with our son who she sleeps with at night but still wouldn’t eat till we came home, guess her way of telling us she’s going on vacation from now on

My Azara was inflicted with cancer. She died in my arms. The vet tech had only pushed in half of the dose when I felt my beloved Doberman take her last breath. She was an amazing dog. She came from an abusive father who neglected and beat her. I convinced him to give her to a friend of mine, knowing we would start dating And he would have to move to get a better job…… meaning I would get her. Hehheeehehhe! And I did. That silly girl tore out the vent under our house for the warmth of the heater. She would drag a blanket around the house and plop down wherever we were or at the patio door, basking in the sun. She would go out in the heat of the day and flop out in the yard to sun, later we would hear her flop against the door meaning she was ready to come back in. We all mourned her passing save my chihuahua -poodle thing who rejoiced in her passing. She was happy until she passed 5 months later, a week after her 16th birthday. Siiiiiiigh
