Boxers are silly, sweet and mischievous. They clown around with family and friends, are patient and playful with children, but show a deliberate and wary face to strangers, responding with unmatched courage to anything that threatens their loved ones. Those characteristics are why people love them.
It’s been often said that dogs are the only creatures on earth that love you more than they love themselves. Well, Boxers are no exception!
But sometimes, we take our furry friends and wonderful companions for granted. There are important life lessons that are sometimes easy to forget in our hectic lives, that all Boxer owners must never forget.
If we want to pay back the favor and give them the best life possible, these 20 important reminders should serve you well as awesome Boxer owners. The last one (#20) brought me to tears…
Check out the 20 Things All Boxer Owners Must Never Forget on the next page:

Brian Miller Me too… My 7 yr old Boxer girl is positive for DNA test for DM…. Hope it doesn’t come soon. I bred her to a DM clear stud, so her pups were carriers, but will NOT get DM. We have had so much health testing done that wasn’t available a few yrs ago. A simple cheek swab, sent to the University of Missouri, Orthopedic DNA department is only $65, and a MUST DO before any Boxer breeding. We can rid our Boxer’s of that terrible disease. I have one of her pups, (she was only bred once), and I have peace knowing she won’t get DM. My old Boxer girl, lasted til 13, never go the DM. Sorry so long…. I am tearing up reading all these posts :'(

This is so depressing. Was expecting positive like I’m always playful even in my golden age or loves to play games or loves to be hugged, scratched behind the ear…. Stuff like that.

This is so sad reading. Tears in my eyes for you. Ive always owned Rotties and have done this more times than i want to count. My husband and i just adopted/rescued a full blodded Boxer. He is beautiful and sweet and goofy i dread the day this happens as i love him so much. We have had him 12 days i jave gottwn him bach to a healthy weight. Hes around 66 but vet says 70 is a good weight fir Boxers. He is spoiled the same or more than my Rotties. Hes a blessing.
