Boxers are silly, sweet and mischievous. They clown around with family and friends, are patient and playful with children, but show a deliberate and wary face to strangers, responding with unmatched courage to anything that threatens their loved ones. Those characteristics are why people love them.
It’s been often said that dogs are the only creatures on earth that love you more than they love themselves. Well, Boxers are no exception!
But sometimes, we take our furry friends and wonderful companions for granted. There are important life lessons that are sometimes easy to forget in our hectic lives, that all Boxer owners must never forget.
If we want to pay back the favor and give them the best life possible, these 20 important reminders should serve you well as awesome Boxer owners. The last one (#20) brought me to tears…
Check out the 20 Things All Boxer Owners Must Never Forget on the next page:

It’s been 6 months ago that I lost my shadow. I was cheek to cheek crying as he passed but such a calm look into his eyes like he was thinking me for loving him so much. I still have not been able to get another dog because it hurts so much and I hate it when people say it’s only a dog , well they must of never had a boxer because they are the most loving breed and so much joy and make you laugh every day.

when you feel ready, please consider getting another, so many need loving homes, there are rescues that are often in need of foster homes as well, it is the only thing they leave is a home for another dog indeed of a safe and loving home, peace to your heart, jude

Well I moved to a new home and Buster came down with valley fever and finding out they get it from the soil in the yard. So I fear it will happen to another plus the quilt if I hadn’t bought home he would be here today.

He did have cancer but the valley fever is what he died from and I didn’t get results until day offer I let him go. He was having seizures and I couldn’t watch him suffer so I let him go.

Our rescued 6yr old “Bella” lasted almost a year after being diagnosed with DM. Hardest thing we’ve ever had to do. Just put her down last month. We had just put down her sister, 11yr old “Buttercup” back in December. She had come down with an auto immune disease. 2 within 6 months. Still sick about it. The loves of our life. Miss them so much!
