Boston Terriers are known for being very intelligent — sometimes too much so.
Their lively, affectionate nature makes them extremely lovable, though their sometimes stubborn nature or spurts of hyperactivity can land them in hot water with their owners.
Any angst about their behavior, however, soon melts when they look up at you with those huge, round eyes that seem to say “I love you.”
It’s been often said that dogs are the only creatures on earth that love you more than they love themselves. Well, Boston Terriers are no exception!
But sometimes, we take our furry friends and wonderful companions for granted. There are important life lessons that are sometimes easy to forget in our hectic lives, that all Boston Terrier owners must never forget.
If we want to pay back the favor and give them the best life possible, these 20 important reminders should serve you well as awesome Boston Terrier owners. The last one (#20) brought me to tears…
Check out the 20 Things All Boston Terrier Owners Must Never Forget on the next page:

Same with brother’s Boston; 6 years old. Had MRI — massive brain tumor found — had to let him go.

Thaks Lisa, makes me feel lucky to still have my two. Even tho I still am not dealing well with Labatt’s blindness. we still go for long walks but it just breaks by heart that he has no interest in finding toys while Turbo continues to chase balls. Happy I can still cuddle with him.

I’m so sorry. We have always had big dogs. Our Sandy girl was a mastiff and American bulldog mix. When we lost her my hubby and I chose the boston breed. Ellie just turned a year old and we couldn’t love her more. It’s true what they say… so full of personality

That about says it all. As with #20 we just lost our 14 year old. We were there to see her off and she knows we all be reunited someday

Ive had 3 Bostons. Best dogs ever. I took my 12yr old girl to have put down. It was the sadessed thing to do. I have a very spoiled boy Dozi. He immigrated with us from RSA to Aus. I talk, sing ect to him. He sleeps us off the bed. Too lazy to jump on the bed and will wake me up to 3 times a night slapping his paw on the mattress. He is now 11yrs old with a very bad heart murmer and meds morning & night. So no more walkies, but we take him for a drive. He loves it.

These are our babies. Mattie on left and Chuckie on right. We had to put Chuckie to sleep 1 1/2 months ago. He was just short of his 15th birthday. My heart will forever be broken as he was my right hand man. He was a rescue and i was blessed everyday by him. I wish i could have held him longer but he was in such terrible pain that the meds couldn’t control anymore. I’ve never cried so hard in all my life

It’s just two months since our boy Briggs crossed the Bridge, suddenly and too soon. That last one ripped open my heart again, and tears that had dried returned. I so miss that son of mine.
