  1. I stayed till the very end with two of my boys. Had to put them down within 3 months of each other. I lasted 3 weeks and adopted two more. Best thing I did to get rid of the sadness. Bassets are the best dogs one could ever have.

  2. After 17 years and two months, Aliza (happiness in Hebrew) had trouble seeing, hearing, couldn’t walk, and howeled with pain when passing$#%&!@*matter. I made her a two steak dinner which I knew she couldn’t pass it through, invited the vet to give her a shot and I kept stroking her which she liked from day one and she groaned with love at each stroke until she stopped breathing. This was five years ago, it’s like it was yesterday and I still miss her.

  3. Our Taz traveled the USA in our motorhome for years. He loved meeting new people and other pets. He really loved it when we would spend time in the wilderness, desert, mountains, prairies, and the beaches, it was a world of new smells every time we stopped. Our adult children said we treated him better than them. He was a joy. I will miss him forever.
