  1. All of these are so true for Percy Girl! Don’t worry, we are loving her just as much now that she’s old as we did when she was young…right down to what I was just doing 5 minutes ago which was putting my foot behind her food bowl so her blind self doesn’t have to chase it around the room <3

  2. My daughter has two Bassets and the female is Daisey May…..she is such a sweet girl, but very stubborn. Her brother is Harvey, I love them both….then they have a bigger brother…195 pound Dane, Riggs is a true gentlemen..all are adorable to me…..

We got our Basset when he was 8 wks old.I didn’t get to see him near as much as I wanted.I was off working and he stayed with my mom and dad.But in the end I was with him when he took his last breath.I felt his heart stop.I love the dogs I have and wouldn’t take anything for them but if I live long enough I will have another Basset Hound!!!AMEN!!!

This is so true each of them 20 things I did I was with Dixie holding her head when she took her last breath of this world so I did the wish she wanted I miss that girl so much and think of her each day and I got some new flowers today put on her grave I have made for her basset hounds are the best loving pets to have I even had her to bark like roll tide I could say do roll tide and she do it and it make me so happy and so she was happy to know she got treat for doing it for me love my baby girl
