19 Reasons Why Pugs Are The Worst Dogs To Live With

Oh Pugs… the breed that has become one of the most popular of all dog breeds in the United States (and among celebrities)…

Is it because of their charming, fun-loving clown of a dog personality who doesn’t mind wearing a costume? or is it the wrinkly, short-muzzled face and curled tail that makes you smile? or all of the above?

They've been often described as a lot of dog in a small space. Pugs are known as the clowns of the canine world because they have a great sense of humor and like to show off.

Originally bred to be a lap dog, the Pug thrives on human companionship.

But as popular as they’ve become, you might be shocked to know that they are the worst dogs to live with… and there are 19 reasons for it.

  1. haha….Laurie….before I got two pugs…I had asked my friend Karen, who btw has 14 pugs…if they shed….WELLLL…..that woman said OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOO…..they don’t shed. Sure they don’t ….I chase the hair from Madison and Isabelle everyday….but I truly don’t mind…I love them…so I figure Karen just doesn’t see the hair through the love….so I shall!! oxo….

  2. Not just Sammie…my black pug, Isabelle…has serious separation anxiety……I just ignore it…she cries like a child when I go AND when she hears me come back…supersonic hearing on her….when I pull in…I can hear her….on the other hand…my other pug, Madison…knows I will ALWAYS COME BACK TO HER….and she is much more laid back…she doesn’t fret one bit!!

  3. How much does Ming Ming weigh? My Pug is 31 lbs, it is very difficult for him to get around:( we had placed him on a diet and he lost three pounds but then his mate died and he gained. I’m sure I sympathy fed him 🙁
