19 Reasons Why Chihuahuas Are The Worst Dogs To Live With

Oh Chihuahuas… the smallest breed of dog named for the state of Chihuahua in Mexico, that has become one of the most popular of all dog breeds in the United States (and among celebrities)…

Is it because of being the world's smallest dog yet having the world's biggest personality stashed inside that tiny body? That larger-than-life persona that makes him appealing to men and women alike? or all of the above?

Fun and busy, Chihuahuas like nothing better than to be close to their people. They follow them everywhere in the house and ride along in tote bags when their people run errands or go shopping.

It's not unusual for Chihuahuas to form a close bond with a single person, and they can become very demanding if they're overindulged.

But as popular as they’ve become, you might be shocked to know that they are the worst dogs to live with… and there are 19 reasons for it.

Check out the 19 reasons why Chihuahuas are the worst dogs to live with on the next page:

  1. Oh my such terrible, awful, little critters that love you forever, will lick your tears, make you laugh and stick by you with super glue hold. Have had 4 of them over the last 50 years. Looking for year old house-trained sisters. Rescued perferred.

  2. I love um…they think i am their mom….they sleep with me, and sit with me, and i have no problem with them…my oldest was 17…she was a treasure….and toward the end of her life, i used to chew up chicken or beef, that i had cooked and would feed it to her because she had no teeth left…plus she loved tuna and mayo…the three i have now, cute little companions and burglar alarms…nothing gets by them…lol

  3. Not true I have a Chihuahua for six years and one before her for 13 years they are very good LOL little dogs maybe not good with children I am senior so therefore I don’t know maybe if they were raised with children they would be all right I really don’t now I have teenage grandchildren and my little dog is fine with them but smaller children I really don’t now but I can honestly say that my Chihuahua is one of the best dogs I’ve ever had and I had many different kinds
